Huerray controls Philips Hue and LIFX the way light should be: instant direct and without an account.

The app talks to your lamps right on your home network — through the Hue Bridge and with LIFX no bridge at all. No sign-up no server in between no waiting. You open the app and the light follows. On top of that come scenes animated light moods and a music mode that makes your light pulse in time with the beat.

A COLOR PICKER THAT FEELS RIGHT
One large color field that you drag under your finger. Up makes it brighter down makes it darker. At full brightness it snaps noticeably into place and dragging further takes the color back towards white. All in a single movement with no sliders and no menus.

ROOMS AND SCENES
Your lamps live in rooms just as they stand at home. Five scenes are there from the start: Lounge Ocean Forest Orange and Love. You create your own from whatever color is set right now including different colors per lamp.

EVERY LAMP ON ITS OWN
Tap a lamp and adjust just that one. That is how gradients across a whole room come about instead of the same light everywhere.

LIGHT THAT MOVES (PREMIUM)
Ten animated scenes send the light wandering: candle aurora breathe rainbow neon fireplace sunrise sunset waves and party. Build your own from up to nine colors with your own tempo and your own picture. Whatever your lamps can do themselves they take over — then it keeps running even with the app closed.

IN TIME WITH THE MUSIC (PREMIUM)
Huerray listens through the microphone finds the beat and lets your light pulse along — in the colors of the animation you picked. Loud moments flash white; when the music stops the light fades down. The sound is analyzed on your device only: nothing is recorded stored or transmitted.

Huerray has no user account and no server of its own. Rooms and scenes live on your device the bridge key lives in your operating system's key store. No ads and no cross-app tracking. To find faults the app reports anonymously which features are used and whether it crashed — never the names of your rooms scenes or lamps.
