Keep a useful flashlight on the surface and your personal files in
a private space you control.
Torch Archive combines practical flashlight tools with a discreet on-device vault. Use the flashlight normally or press and hold the Torch Archive logo at the top of the screen to open your private collections.
Private vault for the files that matter
Choose the photos videos audio files and documents you want to place in the vault. Torch Archive imports only the items you select through Android's system picker and stores the private copies in app-owned storage on your device.
Discreet quick access
The main screen works as a flashlight with Normal Strobe and SOS modes. On supported devices you can also adjust torch brightness. Your vault remains behind a deliberate long-press and PIN screen.
Practical privacy controls
- Protect vault access with a four-digit PIN.
- Add a security question for PIN recovery.
- Enable fingerprint unlock on supported devices.
- Automatically lock the vault when the app leaves the foreground.
- Block screenshots and screen recording on authentication and vault screens.
Organise and restore
Keep photos videos and audio arranged in private folders. Store selected documents in the Documents vault. When you need an item again restore it to a compatible device folder or choose a destination through Android's folder picker.
On-device by design
Torch Archive does not require an account and does not provide a developer-operated cloud vault. Your selected vault files and vault credentials are not uploaded to a server operated by the developer. PIN and recovery-answer values are stored as salted cryptographic hashes rather than readable text.
Permission clarity
Camera permission is used only to control the flashlight. Torch Archive does not use it to take photos or record video. File access is handled through Android's system pickers so you choose the specific items and restore locations. Fingerprint matching is performed by Android; the app receives the authentication result not your fingerprint data.
Important to know
When an item is added to the vault Torch Archive first creates the private copy and then asks Android to remove the selected original when permitted. Restoring an item moves it out of the vault after a successful copy. Keep separate backups of anything you cannot replace. Clearing app data or uninstalling before restoring private items can permanently remove vault content.
Torch Archive is ad-supported. A banner ad may appear inside the vault. Google User Messaging Platform is used to request and manage privacy choices where required.
