Game variations

Beyond classic Sudoku Andoku Sudoku 3 includes a wide range of variants. Each adds extra regions that must also contain the digits 1 to 9:
• X Sudoku — the two main diagonals
• Hyper Sudoku — four extra inner boxes
• Percent Sudoku — two extra boxes and a diagonal arranged like a "%" sign
• Center Dot Sudoku — the center cell of every box
• Asterisk Sudoku — nine cells in a star pattern
• Color Sudoku — nine colored groups of cells

Every variant is also available as a Jigsaw Sudoku where the nine 3×3 boxes are replaced by irregularly shaped regions — for an extra challenge.
