Dhamma (Pali) or Dharma (Sanskrit) means simple undistorted truth as the Buddha taught it. The Dhamma taught by the Buddha is simple and easy to practice. It is about ourselves and how we can free ourselves from our own suffering. As suffering beings we delude ourselves about the true nature of our body and mind. However if we practice Dhamma we turn our attention to our body and mind thereby revealing their true nature. Our suffering gradually decreases as we come to understand the Dhamma.
