This application enables control of the basic functions* of the
Sony STR-DN1080 STR-DN1070** STR-DN1060 STR-DN860** AV Receivers
via a WiFi network.
This is the Free version of the app. It has some of the functionality disabled (see the bottom of this page for details). If you find that this app works well for you please consider buying the Pro version.
This app is handy if your AVR's position is not convenient for use with the standard IR remote - for example if located in a different room or installed in a cabinet. Or you might just prefer using this app instead of the standard IR remote.
Important:
Your phone/tablet will need to be connected to the same network as the AVR.

Note for the EU model STR-DN1080:
The 'Power On' function requires "Network Standby" to be enabled in the AV Receiver's "Network Settings". This feature is not available on EU models.
The following functions are disabled in this Free version:
– 8 buttons on Main Controls screen.
– Zone 2 and HDMI Zone controls.
– Storing internet radio stream URLs.
– Renaming of buttons.
– Extra Controls: Calibration Presets.
– Network Standby and Remote Start settings.
– Showing app on lock screen.
– Hardware volume button controls.
– Custom presets for Speaker Levels and Equalizer.
* Functions differ depending on the model of your receiver.
** These models should work but are currently untested. Please email if there are any functions that are not working for you.
