"قاهر الأرواح" كتاب في العلوم الروحانية دون فيه المؤلف ما عرفه عن هذا العلم، جامعاً فيه بعض ما جمعه السابقون، ومصرحاً به عن بعض ما كتموه من أسرار الجلب والتسخير، والمراد من هذا الفن معرفة مناسبة الأرواح البشرية مع الأرواح المجردة من الجن والاستعلام بهم عن الأحوال الجزئية الحادثة في عالم الكون والفساد المخصوصة بالمستقبل.
والكتاب في أقسام، قدم لها المؤلف بمقدمة عامة عن شروط التنجيم والاستخدام والعمل، ذاكراً ما يتلى قبل أن يتحدث عن كيفية عمل الأحجبة. كما أفرد أقساماً قسم منها للأسماء الروحانية النافعة وهو يحوي عدداً من العزائم، وقسم آخر لتسخير الكواكب والخواتم الطلسمية وفي كيفية عن الخواتم، واستخدام ملوك الزمان واستخدام عامر المكان، وأعمال الجاه والقبول وقضاء الحوائج.
