New BubbleUPnP 3.1.3p3 "Happy New Year" beta available to Google Play beta subscribers.
It's compiled with R8, the new all-in-one Google dexer and shrinker, which although it should work is still worth testing on a wide range of device.

Changelog since previous beta

- attempt to fix video not displaying properly when playing to a NVIDIA Shield used as Chromecast, when a video title is very long

- Attempt to fix SSO login to Box.com not working

- fixed notification not showing properly On Xiaomi devices (Xiaomi bug). The fix makes it not possible to display the X button in the notification

- Now Playing: increased cover JPEG quality (compression 80 => 90) over remote networks managed by BubbleUPnP Server (eliminates banding for covers with gradients)

- added ability to add Qobuz/TIDAL tracks to favorites from Now playing/Playlist tabs (use 3-dot menu on track)

- Local renderer now detects non-standard native WMA, APE and DSD support (recent Samsung devices mostly) and use it by default instead of using FFmpeg

- Now Playing: fixed status bar icons sometimes not visible when status bar is drawn on top of album art

- Chromecast Transcoding: On Chromecast v1 and v2 do not force transcoding for h264 profile level > 4.1 as these are now supported

- when playing videos from a remote Control Point using MX Player, do not show eventual MX Player resume popup that may appear

- added Playlist tab > 3 dot menu > Search Playlist. Searches the Playlist for the first item containing the search term in title, album or artist (configurable)

- Library: hide folders when showing initial tutorial

- Now Playing: fixed top bar (Now Playing title) displayed if item had no album art or defined artist. Was problematic in landscape as the track was truncated (not enough room)

- fixed bottom sheets sometimes not expanding totally vertically

- (3.1.3p2 beta bug) fixed bottom bar sometimes not visible when switching tabs

- fixed Library items with text not aligned vertically in case of a mix of items with and without thumbnails

- fixed splash screen nav bar white on Samsung devices (and possibly other devices that default with a white nav bar). Fixed color of nav bar on Settings screen to match current theme (Samsung)

- fixed 'Local renderer' and 'Local media server' not always listed in first position in device chooser lists

- compiled with R8 (instead of D8 + Proguard)
