Control the music on any Android device from
any other Android device over Bluetooth or Wifi. Play pause skip

Control almost any app just by entering is package name. Comes with presets for 49 apps including:

This version lets you control music from the notification area and from the lock screen.
CONNECTING:
Bluetooth.
Pair your devices with Bluetooth. Select the Bluetooth option when first running the app or enable Bluetooth mode in the settings. Select the device you want to control from the list then press the button that says "This Device is the Remote" on the device which will be the remote.
Wifi Network:
Select the Wifi Network option when first starting the app or enable Wifi mode in the settings. On the player device press Run Server. An IP address and port number will appear. On the remote device press Run Remote enter the IP address and port number and press Connect.
Wifi Direct:
Select Wifi Direct when first running the app or enable it in the settings. On both devices press "Scan for Devices" simultaneously. When scanning is finished select the device you want to control from the list of devices and press the button that says "This Device is the Remote" on the device which will be the remote.
CONTROLLING APPS:
On the remote device select the app you want to control from the drop-down list and use the remote control buttons to control playback. You may need to open the player app on the playback device first.
PLAYING ALBUMS OR TRACKS:
When the devices are connected open the menu on the remote device. Select "Find Albums" or "Find Tracks". Find the album or track you want to play by scrolling or by using the Go To button or the Filter button. Select it to start playing. This function only works with these apps:
BlackPlayer doubleTwist Play Music jetAudio Media Monkey Phonograph Pulsar Rocket Player Samsung Music Shuttle and VLC. (Poweramp will play tracks but not albums).
PLAYING PLAYLISTS:
When the devices are connected select "Find playlists" from the menu on the remote. Choose the playlist you want and it will load. Press play to start playing or tap the name of the track you want to play. Playlists can only be played with Play Music Poweramp Rocket Player or the Android internal player. Choose "Set playback app" from the menu on the bottom-right corner when the playlist is loaded to select a player.
ADDING APPS:
Connect the devices. Select "Custom 1" from the bottom of the list of players on the remote device. On the playback device select "Set custom app packages" from the menu. In the space for Custom app 1 enter the package name of the app you want to control and press OK.
You can use an app like Package Name Viewer to get the package name of the app you want to control.
QUITTING:
Press the back button to quit (devices must be disconnected).
ISSUES:
Youtube:
When controlling the YouTube app the back and next buttons only work if you are watching a playlist. Also the play/pause buttons only work if you have already started playing a video.
Spotify:
If the remote does not show track information when controlling Spotify go into the Spotify settings on your playback device and turn on the option called "Device Broadcast Status".
