Jenni and Trix finally approached the
castle after traveling for ages. Suddenly, the gate slammed shut.
“Halt! Who goes there?†bellowed a voice from the castle’s
bastion.
“How corny,†Trix quipped.
“Quiet, Trix. Let me do the
talking,†said Jenni, noticing dozens of arrows aimed at
them.
“Don’t worry, Jenni,†said Trix.
“It’ll take more than a few hundred arrows to make me
quiver!â€
