Accessibility Service API disclosure

Modesmith includes an optional Accessibility Service. It is used only for launcher actions that the user chooses such as locking the screen from a Home gesture or opening the Android notification shade from a Home gesture or dock action.

Modesmith is a launcher not an accessibility tool. It does not use Accessibility access to read screen content collect text monitor other apps track user actions record audio perform remote actions or collect/share personal data. The service is not required for normal launcher use and can be disabled at any time from Android Accessibility settings.

Before opening Android Accessibility settings Modesmith shows an in-app disclosure explaining why the permission is requested.
