- PERSONALIZED ITINERARIES & GPS

The application adapts to your type of bike (classic electrically assisted (EAPC) self-service (SSB)) to your travel speed and to the type of route you want (from the fastest to the safest). Geovelo prioritizes cycle paths cycle lanes and low-traffic streets to ensure your comfort safety and peace of mind. Geovelo includes a real-time guidance system (map / full screen / compass mode) with voice guidance and notifications.

- STATISTICS & AUTOMATIC RECORDING

Log in and save your rides to get all the statistics from your rides.
By simply walking around with the Geovelo application installed your rides are automatically detected and saved. You can then view them in the application. Please note that you will need to authorize the retrieval of locations when the application is closed or in the background for this feature to work.

- CYCLING FACILITIES AND BIKE PARKING

With its precise mapping system Geovelo allows you to quickly and easily find nearby Bike parking and bike racks.

- COMMUNITIES & CHALLENGES

Find other cyclists in your city or organization and connect by participating in the activity challenges. Get on your bike every day or ride as many kilometers as you can to try and make it to the podium in your community. Note that several competitions are organized to win useful gifts for cyclists.

- CYCLE ROUTES & WALKS

The app also offers cycle routes (including La Vélodyssée® Via Rhôna La Loire à Vélo® La Scandibérique La Flow Vélo Le Canal des Deux Mers à Vélo La Vélo Francette® La Véloscénie L'Avenue Verte London-Paris and others) as well as numerous walks to discover the heritage and its treasures

- CONTRIBUTIONS & REPORTS

Report missing bike parking problems or roadworks dangerous roads for cyclists and much more for the benefit of the cycling community.

- PRACTICAL TOOLS

The app includes many tools such as the display of cycling facilities setting weather alerts on your favorite routes (to advise you on a departure time according to the weather) simplified address searches etc.

- SELF-SERVICE BICYCLES

Geovelo shows the availability of bikes and parking spaces (SSB) in real time! In this context we use data provided by the companies Bordeaux V3 Vélolib Vélo'+ Donkey Republic V'Lille Velam VéloCité Villo Velo2 Cristolib Vélo'V Le vélo VéloCité VélOstan'lib Bicloo Cy'clic VélôToulouse LE vélo STAR PBSC PubliBike V1 Yélo Optymo C vélo Vélib' Vélocéa Velopop'.

- A VIRTUOUS CITIZEN APPLICATION

The data created from rides recorded with the Geovelo app is anonymized and used in the context of partnerships to help the territories with which we work to analyze and improve the cyclability of their network. It will never be used for marketing purposes. In addition Geovelo actively contributes to the mapping of cycling facilities alongside the OpenStreetMap community (an international project to create an open map).

- Permissions

- Localization: necessary to display your GPS location and for navigation to work correctly.
- Background location: In order to save your locations speed and cycling statistics access to your location when the app is closed is required for the activity detection and manual recording features to work.
