This app provides a multi-step itinerary management solution with
an unlimited number of stops. The route is defined manually by the
user and is not optimized (generated) from a list of points.
Create a route
Get started by clicking on the ‘+’ button from the home page. A map will be displayed.
This map can be moved:
- Quickly to a destination by using the autocomplete search bar to find addresses or places
- To your current location by clicking on the geolocation button from the top right of the map
- Manually by dragging it
After moving the map start adding the points by:
- Clicking on the ‘+’ button. The point will be added in the center of the map (the center of the map is indicated by a black circle)
- Long pressing anywhere in the map
While creating the route you can:
- Toggle the display of the distance of the current itinerary on the top of the map
- Move points by long pressing then dragging their markers
- Split a step in two
- Merge two steps
- Reverse the route directions
- Focus the map on all the added points
- Undo the last added point
- Clear all the points
- Launch the current route directions
- Set this route's travel mode
- Open the itinerary in Google Maps
The starting point is indicated by the green marker. The other points are displayed with markers containing their step number.
When you are satisfied with your planning you can save the route by clicking the disk icon in the toolbar.
Manage routes
The saved routes are displayed on the app’s home page.
They can be filtered by title.
To launch a saved itinerary’s directions click on:
- It’s map screenshot
- On the blue directions’ icon
Two route directions opening mode are available:
- Using Google Maps
- Using the in-app step by step directions viewer
Routes can be removed either by:
- Swiping to the right
- Clicking on the red delete icon
- Selecting multiple routes and clicking on the delete icon of the menu
Routes can be edited by clicking on the pen icon.
The distance units the travel mode the directions opening mode and the map type can be customized from the settings page.
Routes can be exported and imported.
