Covered by the veil of night, the jungle
seemed to come alive as unseen creatures rustled through the grass
and trees.
“What was that?!†yelped Trix, as a
branch snapped off in the distance.
“Can’t you see in the dark?†Jenni
laughed.
Trix looked at Jenni with a deadly
serious stare. “Yes, I can… why do you think the night scares
me? It’s because I can see EVERYTHING hidden in the
shadows.â€
