Salah or salat (Arabic: ٱلصَّلَاة‎ aá¹£-á¹£alÄh Arabic: ٱلصَّلَوَات‎ aá¹£-á¹£alawÄt meaning "prayer" "supplication" "blessing" and "commendation"; also known as namÄz (from Persian: نماز‎)) is the second of the five pillars in the Islamic faith as daily obligatory standardized prayers. It is a physical mental and spiritual act of worship that is observed five times every day at prescribed times. While facing towards the Kaaba in Mecca Muslims pray reciting from the Qur'an and glorifying and praising Allah.
Salah Times app helps User find accurate Prayer Times and Qibla Direction based on location.
The algorithm calculates the timing and direction based on user position. It also allows user to adjust the timing manually. User can check the Prayer times for 3 coming months. Beautiful Interface with lot of options to display Prayer Times. User can record missed prayers as well.
App is also integrated with web-services providing Prayer Times. Prayer Times can be fetched from the web-portals based on current position. User can create as many numbers of Prayer Times Pages based on Cities and Locations.
The App provides Qibla direction based on Compass as well as GPS. There is no compromise with accuracy and User need not worry if the handset doesn’t have a Compass.
The App helps to find a Mosque nearby for prayer. User can choose a mosque and navigate using Google Map to reach the destination.
App provides a lot literature to understand the importance of Prayers; Quotes and Motivation to build our faith on Allah and follow his designed principles …
