Wallet

The app allows you to start a Yandex.Money Wallet which you can use to do the following:

— save bank card details and pay in one tap
— track history of your payments and deposits
— activate the Yandex.Money bank card
— add payments to your Favorites if you want them to be at hand (for instance adding money to your travel card)
— add money to your Yandex.Money account from a card or find the nearest location for adding by cash.

Contactless Payment with Phones via HCE

You can pay with your phone at offline stores even if you left your wallet with bank cards and cash at home. Money will be debited from your Wallet on Yandex. For more information view ‘Contactless Payments’ section from the main menu.

Important: the section ‘Contactless Payments’ is only viewed in our app for NFC-enabled devices that provide HCE (Host Card Emulation) payments.

Paying by QR Code

Scan a QR code on a bill to pay in one tap: the app will determine the recipient amount and other payment details.

The button ‘Pay by a QR code’ is in the main menu.

Contactless Payments

If your phone supports the NFC you can pay from your Wallet at stores and coffee shops via contactless payments (works similarly to Android Pay).

To activate contactless payments simply sign into the app.

Most of the operations are commission free. For example adding money to Troyka card or paying home utilities. If a commission is applied to a payment you will see the exact amount you are charged before pressing ‘Pay’.

The app is secured with an access code that you create. Even if your phone falls into the wrong hands your money will remain secure.

Payments with a bank card are protected according to the international standard PCI DSS which is a set of requirements for online operations developed by Visa and MasterCard.

The important payments from your Yandex.Money Wallet are secured by one-time passwords: you can activate and manage them on our site’s full version.
